Born and raised on Vancouver Island, my family roots here go back over 125 years. I’ve always felt a deep connection to this special place I call home—growing up exploring rainforest trails, beachcombing along the coast, and spending time on our lakes and ocean. That love of the land and sea has been passed down through generations, with my family involved in farming, fishing, homebuilding, and the skilled trades—a proud island tradition.

Before starting Galavant Private Sightseeing Tours, I ran our family renovation business and developed a lasting passion for home design and real estate—something I still enjoy today. I’m a true nature lover and also inspired by the vibrant local scene in Victoria—from our incredible food and wine to art, boutiques, and unique local finds.

I’ve always had a love for travel and connecting with people from around the world. In 2015, I brought it all together and created Galavant—offering private, local-style tours that are thoughtfully paced, comfortable, and truly local experiences.
